How does a rod subscription work?

Welcome to the Tribe! When you activate a rod subscription and make your initial payment, your new rod will ship out to you immediately. We’ll shoot you a tracking email so you can watch it leave our HQ in Newbury, MA and make its way to your door. Your subscription fee will be billed each month for the next 5 months, and will automatically expire after the final payment. As we roll out new rod models, you’ll have exclusive access to our R.O.D. (Rods On Demand) program, which allows you to demo them for free for one week during your subscription.

 

What do I get with my subscription?

First and foremost you get a kick ass beautiful rod. The Wade Rod Co. is also backed by the best customer service in the biz, we live and die by our subscribers. You'll also gain access to our R.O.D. (Rods On Demand) program, which allows you to demo any new rod models we release for free for 1 week during your subscription. Subscribers get complete Wade Care warranty coverage, a no-hassle Love It or Leave It 30 Day Guarantee, and exclusive access, discounts, and products from our sister brands Postfly and Guidehire.

 

How does the R.O.D. (Rod On Demand) Program work?

 All active Wade Rod subscribers have access to our R.O.D. (Rod On Demand) program, which gives you access to demo any new rod model we release during your active subscription, for one week, for FREE! How does the Wade Care warranty program work?

Wade Care covers anything that happens to your rod while you have an active subscription with us. Snap it in a car window? Covered, Step on it? Covered. This applies to any rod, purchased at any time in the past, as long as you have an active subscription with us. So if you have a rod subscription now for the Nymphster, and in five years from now have a subscription for a different rod model, and your five-year old Nymphster gets caught in an unfortunate freak car door accident, it’s covered. Make sense?

If you choose not to renew your subscription, or it otherwise expires, our warranty program is very simple. We will replace or repair any rod that is out of warranty for $49 + S/H. Simply send the rod back to us and we’ll fix it or replace it and turn it back around to you ASAP!

 

Do I get a rod every month?

You do not get a rod every month. Once you make your first subscription payment, your new rod will ship within 48 hours, a tracking # will be delivered to your inbox and you’ll be able to fish your new stick within days!

 

I received an email confirming my purchase, but I already have my rod! Are you sending me another one?

No, that email is just a receipt for your payment for your monthly subscription. You’ll continue to get these receipts for the remainder of your subscription.

 

Do I get to keep my rod after my subscription expires?

Once you get your rod it is yours to keep, even if you choose not to renew your subscription. Your subscription will automatically expire after the final payment, so you do not need to do anything to cancel it.  If you choose to renew your subscription, then you will be able to choose another rod in our line and we will ship that out to you after your first payment!

 

Can I cancel my subscription and return my rod?

No. Once you purchase the rod from us and use, it is yours and the subscription will continue until you have made 6 full payments to us.

 

If I don’t like my rod can I return it for a different one?

Once you used your rod, it is yours to keep and you cannot return a used rod to us. You can choose to demo a new rod for a week on our R.O.D. (Rod On Demand) program and then re- subscribe for another rod you fall in love with.

 

What is your return policy?

Every rod purchased from our site comes with a 30-Day Love It or Leave It Guarantee. If you don't love your new Wade Rod, just send it back to us in brand-new condition for a refund. We will not accept rods that have been used, scratched, or if the cellophane has been removed from the handle.

Do you build custom rods?

We do not build custom rods at this time. Check back in the future!

When will I get my rod?

Once your order is placed, we will ship your rod within 48 hours via USPS Priority Mail, which typically takes 2-5 business days to arrive to any destination in the US. We are shipping from Newbury, MA.

 

How do I track my rod?

Once your rod is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking link.

 

Can I subscribe if I am outside of North America?

Right now we are only offering subscriptions to customers in the US. However, you can still purchase a rod in full and have us ship it to you wherever you are!
